The ProStar 15 Amp and 30 Amp controllers are top quality PWM type Solar Controllers

There are two different types of ProStar controllers
The less expensive PS-15 and PS-30 controllers which do not have a built in LCD display,
and the PS-15M and PS-30M controllers which have built in LCD displays
(picture above shows a PS-30M with LCD display)

Remote Temperature Sensor


 


MorningStar's Remote Temperature Sensor (RTS) provides improved battery charging in solar systems that experience
temperature variations during the year

The RTS measures the temperature at the battery, and then the controller uses this information to accurately compensate
for temperature changes

The RTS is compatible with:

Relay Driver


 

The Relay Driver is a logic module that provides high level system control functions such as high/low voltage alarms,
load control and generator start

With TriStar Controller:
Battery Voltage, charge/load current, battery temperature, TriStar heat-sink temperature, PWM duty cycle, PV/load voltage
and all TriStar alarms or faults

With Other Controllers:
Battery voltage, Relay Drive temperature and input voltages from other sources

The Remote Meter (RM-1) is a universal, four digit display with custom icons that is compatible
with several MorningStar controllers

The digital meter displays voltage, current, temperature, logged data, settings, alarms
and error reporting for easy troubleshooting

PC Meterbus Adapter



The PC Meterbus Adapter (MSC) converts a controller's meter port (RJ-11 phone type connector)
to a standard RS-232 serial connector for connection to a PC or other equipment

The MSC can be used with any MorningStar controller equipped with a meter connection that does not
already have an RS-232 port

Kit includes the PC Meterbus Adapter
RS-232 cable with connectors (1.8m)
RJ-11 cable with connectors (1m)
